![]() I posted to the Intel support community and after troubleshooting, they directed me to HP. I've searched online, but I can't seem to find anyone with a similar issue. It won't update to the the HP driver ( 21.40.2.2 Rev.P). It's running on the latest Intel driver ( 19.51.27.1). My laptop's wireless network adapter is an Intel dual band wireless-AC 3168 (original hardware). I haven't changed my router or internet for over a year, so that should not be the issue. I've already gone through uninstalling/reinstalling/updating the drivers. I tested it today and my laptop will also connect to free wifi at my work or my phone's hotspot. I can connect to my home internet via ethernet cable. All of my other wireless devices (ipad, old laptop, google home, fireTV, kindle, smart plugs, etc) work fine on my home wifi (no reset needed). Even if I am connected to wifi, close my laptop and then immediately open it again, it will still need a router reset to connect. It requires my router to be reset before it will connect. ![]() Out of the blue, my laptop stopped connecting automatically to my home wifi after waking or being turned on.
